On this page, I will provide a little information about who I am. On the "Researching My Family" page I will tell what inspired me to do this research. Initially the information in my genealogy file was obtained from talking to at-the-time living relatives, and from researching public records. In the course of doing this research, I discovered that I had many more relatives than I ever thought possible.
The name of this site was determined when I got married. My parents were Henry William BUER and Hertha Martha HINZ. My wife, Raymir, was the daughter of Raymond Emil BEHRENS and Miriam HANCOCK. Hence the four names in the title of the site.
NOTE: For photos of these "denizens" of the forest please see the Family Members Photos Page.
As for the "Family Forest" part of the title, that comes from the results of the research. Each ancestor with the same surname as mine or my wife's who married brought into the mix a new surname. The descendants of each new marriage brought in a new "tree". Each descendant who married also brought in another new surname and "tree", and the process went on and on and on. My file now contains 920 individuals with 283 different surnames -- 283 "trees" in the "forest".
This site is a work in progress, so please contact me if you have any information that might help round out my forest. I will also furnish you with data to help you round out your family.
Thank you for your help.
